Thermal boundary-layer problems in a semi-infinite flat plate by the differential transformation method

This paper investigates the velocity and temperature field in the thermal boundary layer over a semi-infinite flat plate. The differential transformation method is used to determine some solutions of these velocity and thermal boundary-layer problems. Numerical results for the dimensionless temperature profiles are presented graphically for different values of Prandtl number. It is found that the results obtained by the present method are in good agreement with those provided by other numerical methods.
