IUFRO Scientific Summaries are written for IUFRO members to create awareness of topics, meetings or events relevant to IUFRO Divisions, Task Forces, Projects and Programmes. They present substantial information on progress, processes and – most of all – results in forest science and related disciplines in a concise and easy-to-read style. The reports describe IUFRO activities on forest science issues of broad interest and may relate to international processes and debates. The summaries emphasize the scientific results of IUFRO.
