Multi mode monopulse tracking system and multi mode monopulse tracking method

PURPOSE: A multiplex mode mono-pulse satellite tracking system and a multiplex mode mono-pulse satellite tracking method are provided to enhance tracking accuracy in comparison with a lobing satellite tracking system. CONSTITUTION: A multiplex mode mono-pulse satellite tracking system comprises an antenna assembly including a feeding horn assembly (100), a low noise amplifier (200), a down converter (300), a mono pulse receiver (400), a signal processor (600), and an antenna driver (700). The antenna assembly including the feeding horn assembly produces a mono-pulse tracking signal using a tracking signal. The low noise amplifier is connected to a rear end of the feeding horn assembly and amplifies the mono-pulse tracking signal to low noise. The down converter is connected to a rear end of the low noise amplifier and downwardly changes frequency of the mono-pulse tracking signal which is amplified to the low noise. The mono pulse receiver is connected to a rear end of the down converter and separates the changed signal into an I signal and a Q signal. The signal processor is connected to a rear end of the mono-pulse receiver and produces an azimuth and an altitude using the I signal and the Q signal.
