Dynamic Evaluating Rice Pest Risk State of Decision Maker Agents in Rice Pest Management Model

For rice pest management, decision makers base on not only experience but also information synthesized from data sources to make plans for controlling rice pests, these information are key inputs to reveal potential global rice pestrisk levels at different spatial-temporal scales and a rice pestrisk index is synthesized from these information can support stakeholders understand global rice pest risk levels of areas before decision making process is made. This paper introduces a method to build a synthetic rice pest risk index and designs decision maker agents with ability of aggregating information from other agents, OWA based method and Choquet integral based method are experimented on decision maker agents to determine global rice pest risk index, a case study is carried out on risk assessment of brown plant hoppers in the Mekong Delta region to explore feasibility of these methods in rice pest management applications.
