Haplopappin, ein 8-(a-Methylbenzyl)flavonoid ausHaplopapus foliosus

Aus Wurzeln von Haplopappus foliosus DC. (Compositae) wurde ein als Haplopappin bezeichnetes Flavonoid (HP-3) der Summenformel C25H22O7 isoliert. Die Teilstrukturen wurden durch IR-, UV-, MS-, 1H-NMR- und 13C-NMR-Daten bestimmt. Durch Einkristall-Rontgendiffraktometrie wurde das Flavonoid als (R,S)-5,7-Dihydroxy-8-[1(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-3-methoxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4H-benzopyran-4-on (2) identifiziert. Haplopappin, an 8-(α-Methylbenzyl)flavonoid from Haplopappus foliosus A flavonoid (HP-3), named haplopappin, of the molecular formula C25H22O7 was isolated from the roots of Haplopappus foliosus DC. (Compositae). Substructures were derived from IR, UV, MS, 1H and 13C NMR data. Single-crystal X-ray diffractometry identified the flavonoid as (R,S)-5,7-dihydroxy-8-[1-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]-3-methoxy-2-(4-methoxyphenyl)-4H-benzopyran-4-one (2).
