A Passenger Itinerary Recovery Problem of Irregular Flight Based on Danzig-Wolfe Algorithm

The passenger itinerary recovery problem is an essential part of irregular flight recovery issues,which was ignored in aircraft routes and airline crew recovery schedules.A space-time network was built and a multi-commodity flow model of irregular flight recovery was established based on aircraft recovery schedule.Danzig-Wolfe decomposition algorithm was designed to solve the model and passenger recovery schedule can be given.Actual instance analysis shows that Danzig-Wolfe decomposition can be used to find out the optimal solution which reduces the airlines cost and enhances the passenger satisfaction in compliance with the request of real-time decision-making.
