VAPOUR - DYNAMIC THERMOSYPHONS AND "SPAGHETTI" HEAT PIPES FOR REFRIGERATORS

A new vapour-dynamic thermosyphon with one evaporator and two coaxial condensers used alternatively was designed and tested. Two types of evaporators were considered. On as a compact boiler with porous heat loaded tube as a source of energy immersed in liquid. The second as an evaporator with capillary pump connected with liquid pipes through valves. These evaporators were placed in a focus of a parabolic solar concentrator. As alternative electric cartridge heater was used. The heat power output is 1000 W with R=0.03 K/W A new thermal control system for the refrigerator chambers, computers and electronic cabinets was design and tested. "Spaghetti" bendable SS-ammonia heat pipes arranged as a panels were used combined with compact cold store (solar sorption machine evaporator, dry ice box). The cold output of this panel is 300 W, R_(HP) = 0.01 K/W at the temperature Tc = - 5℃.
