Identification of Sound Source Based on Microphone Array

The main disadvantages of microphone array sound source identification technique based on beamforming are poor spatial resolution at low frequency,and the spatial aliasing problem at high frequency,leading to the identification of false sources.This paper introduces a measurement technique including changing the position of the microphone array center and adjusting the measurement distance to improve the resolution in low-frequency sound source identification,and rotating the microphone array for multiple measurements to reducing the spatial aliasing problem in high-frequency sound source identification so as to achieve the goal of using less microphones to enhance the performance of sound source identification.
