Fixed-Time Sliding Mode Tracking Control for Non-Cascade Strict-Feedback Nonlinear Systems

This paper focuses on the fixed time tracking problem for non-cascade strict-feedback nonlinear systems. By using SMC method and dynamics surface control method, a novel sliding manifold and an improved first order filter are respectively constructed. Based on backstepping technique, a fixed-time sliding mode tracking control (FSMTC) method is developed for the considered system such that the required tracking performance is achieved within a fixed time. Stability analysis and simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed FSMTC scheme.
