Benchmark Problems for Boundary Element Methods

Over the last 6 years a lot of new techniques and algorithms for boundary element methods have been developed; e g for the numerical integration of singular integrals, for fast matrix times vector realizations as the panel clustering method or wavelet techniques to get sparse stiffness matrices; for domain decomposition methods and parallel algorithms for boundary integral equations including preconditioning techniques; for applications to complicated three dimensional nonlinear problems in structural mechanics.
