Adaptive Estimation and Control of the Specific Growth Rate of a Nonlinear Fermentation Process via MRAC Method

Abstract The estimation and control of the specific growth rate is a fundamental task for optimizing the fermentation process. This paper presents a new approach based on MRAC (Model Reference Adaptive Control) method foi realizing this difficult task.
