On the Interference between DS-UWB Systems

The coexistence of UWB communication systems may cause interference. In this paper, the interference between two DS-UWB asynchronous communication systems is studied. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations indicate that strong interference occurs as the chip rate increases, and the low date-rate DS-UWB system suffers more from the high-rate system. By properly increasing the length of pseudo noise (PN) codes, the anti-jamming performance of DS-UWB system can be improved significantly.
