The design of combinational deformable mirror of multi-conjugated adaptive optics

This paper introduce the principle and structure of deformable mirror. As the deformable mirror is the core of adaptive optics system. Based on current technology, we design combinational deformable mirror and apply it in the dual-conjugate adaptive optics system, consider the simulation of atmosphere turbulence in four seasons of HeiFei, we set the combinational deformable mirror conjugate to low-rise atmosphere. The result shows that the strehl ratio of the system has significantly promoted. In additional, we should consider which kinds of material is the best in improving the function of the system. We introduced Calibration parameter of three common deformable mirrors, and make comparison between different materials. Then we have it tested in HeFei. Our simulation results prove that the system has the most cost-efficient by using continuous surface deformable mirror.
