Three-phase ac-ac four-leg converter with minimization of the capacitor current

This article proposes a control technique to reduce the ac fundamental capacitor current of the three-phase ac-ac four-leg converter. In that technique the converter load voltages are synchronized to the grid voltages. The technique can be used in applications where the load frequency is equal to the input frequency. Experimental and simulated results are presented.
