The detection of a linear frequency modulated signal(LFM) with small frequency rate is studied in very low signal noise ratio(SNR).The signal has an slowly increasing (or decreasing) frequency and is corrupted by powerful white noise. The SNR is low than -10 dB. Making use of the character that the LFM signal can collect a peak in a WHT plane and its peaks is slowly changed in sequence of the WHT plane, A new detection technique for this signal based on WHT and image flow is proposed. The technique is proved out by computer simulation of keeping good performance for this signal.
