A hybrid secure communication method based on the synchronization of hyperchaos systems

Using the synchronization of hyperchaotic oscillators with only one variable unidirectionally coupled and the two-channel transmission method, a hybrid secure communication scheme with two channels based on the hyperchaos synchronization is proposed. In this scheme, one or several variables of the hyperchaotic oscillator at the transmitter are used to generate digital key and masking signal, the information signals are first encrypted by the key and then masked by the masking signal. The masked signals are transmitted in one channel ,the other channel is used to transmit the single variable which is coupled to the receiver to drive two hyperchaotic oscillators to synchronize. The information signals can be recoverd precisely with higher SNR at the receiver.Computer simulation is performed to verify the results.
