Bäcklund transformation and soliton solutions for the shallow water waves equation

Abstract A new bilinear Backlund transformation is presented for the shallow water waves equation. Starting from the new Backlund transformation, a wide variety of novel soliton solutions of the shallow water waves equation are generated. Moreover, the relationship between these solutions has been discussed.
