A Computer-Based Environment for Learning by Problem-Posing as Sentence-Integration

Learning by problem-posing is a well recognized as an important way to learn mathematics. In this paper, we describe a computer-based learning environment for learning by problem-posing as sentence-integration. The learning environment was practically used in arithmetic classes of the second and third grade students in several elementary schools. The definition of “learning by problem-posing as sentence-integration” and the framework of the learning environment are described in this paper.
