Simulation of Power Control and Diversity of Cellular Cdma

This paper presents a software package we have developed for the simulation of a cellular code division multiple access (CDMA) system. In the simulated system, a number of factors are taken into account including time-correlated fading and shadowing, delays in power control and diversity, errors in power control commands, soft hand-oo, base station diversity, and pilots and diversity transmis-sions' contributions to the interference.
