Filtering Performance of Polarization Sensitive Array:Completely Polarized Case

The filtering performance of polarization sensitive array is investigated theoretically. The desired signal and interference are completely polarized and come from random directions. We obtain the maximal outputting SINR (Signal to Interfere and Noise Ratio),which is mainly related with the spatial matching coefficient and polarizational matching coefficient between signal and interference.Contrasted to the common antenna array with the same hardware equipment, its advantages are mainly embodied by the joint filter ability in polarizational domain and spatial domain. The interference must come from the same direction and with the same polarization as the desired signal to gain the low SINR.Numerical examples and results verify the correctness of theoretical deduction.
