Development of Accounting Information System on state owned property: case study at Regional Office of Directorate General of Treasury, province of Lampung-Indonesia

The purpose of this research is to develop an application of Management Information System which is the State Owned Property Accounting Information System (SIMAK-BMN) by taking case study at the Regional Office of Directorate General of Treasury, Province of Lampung. The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is used as the method of this research in which PIECES analysis (Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency and Service) is being used in the analysis phase. The new developed system which is known as "Aplikasi Monitoring Barang Milik Negara" (State Owned Property Monitoring Application System) is being used and integrated with the existing system and local area network (LAN) to enable the top management levels to monitor closely all the flow of information that helping them alot in making decsion. This new system is also being used for optimalization and effectiveness of the work within the office.
