Simulation of Microcontroller System Based on Multisim10

Traditional methods of learning microcontroller needs hardware development board,so part of the funds must be invested in microcontroller and its peripheral circuits, thus adding a financial burden on beginners.National Instruments has developed virtual Multisim10 software, this platform can be easily used to set up hardware circuitry and conduct simulation. This paper takes signal generator and two liquid crystal display devices as example to introduce a design method of microcontroller in virtual enviroment which can integrate the traditional hardware design, debugging, and simulation in an integrated software environment. It is convenient to experiment while designing, and is easy to modify and debug. Moreover,it costs less owing to using virtual components and apparatus, but works faster. As assembly Language is adopted as program design language, and relevant documents can be a used as reference, but C language references is lacking,so C language is used as design language.Simulation tests show that the results can meet the design requirements.
