Tactical Decision making Under Stress (TADMUS) Program Study

Abstract : TADMUS, a joint NOSC/Naval Training Systems Center (NTSC) program, is aimed at the development of aids for decision making in low-intensity conflict. This report describes the NOSC experiment to satisfy Task 1, including Performance Standards, Measures of Performance, administration of experiments, data reduction, and Measures of Effectiveness, with enough background summary to make clear the setting of these aspects. Much of NTSC's Task 2 could follow the same approach if NTSC should wish to use it. Tasks 3,4, and 5 cannot be definitively designed until at least preliminary results of Task 1 are available.
