The Effects of Thinking Aloud during Reading on Students' Comprehension of More or Less Coherent Text.

Les As. analysent les effets de la coherence du texte et d'un reel investissement sur la comprehension, par un groupe d'etudiants, des informations fournies par un manuel. Ils presentent 2 experiences ou texte original et texte reecrit sont combine avec lecture silencieuse ou avec pensee a haute voix. La version reecrite d'un passage original du manuel permet d'augmenter la coherence du texte, et la procedure de pensee a haute voix est utilisee de maniere a demander de la part des etudiants un investissement actif pendant qu'ils lisent, afin de voir si le fait de leur donner la possibilite de reflechir a ce qu'ils lisent influence leur comprehension
