Numerical simulation of the static wind load on a lightweight steel hollow structure with tetrahedral slope top is done,applying numerical simulation technique based on CFD and RNG turbulence model.The impact of wind direction is mainly considered.Wind pressure distribution on surfaces of the structure is obtained. The result obtained is also compared and analyzed.Wind pressure distribution on the structural surface is non-uniform and local wind pressure is relatively large;the wind direction has certain impact on the wind pressure distribution on the surface of the structure.Finally,based on the analysis result,the partition method for wind pressure on the surface of the this kind of the structure is put forward.
