Body surface representation using adjustable template model

The paper presents a template modeler for modeling individualization, realistic body surface. A new body shape is easily generated by modifying a template model with some dressing parameters. The problem is approached by some fitted silhouettes that are devoted to the generation of appropriate shape and proportion of the body geometry with inputting the parameters. These silhouettes are simulated with relative parameters. We obtain the correspondence by fitting a template onto each inputted data. Throughout the paper, the body surface is represented by the corresponding joint parameters, which will determine the linear approximation of the physique. Having these parameters modeled, the runtime modeling can be reduced to the template model. It demonstrates that it is simple and flexible to generate an individualized body surface model by applying different dressing parameters.
