High-School Students Attitudes toward and Interest in Learning Chemistry

Uno de los objetivos claves para la ensenanza y el aprendizaje de las ciencias es desarrollar interes y actitudes positivas hacia la ciencia, en general, y el aprendizaje de la misma, en particular. Debido a ello, esta area a lo largo de los anos ha alimentado muchos estudios de investigacion, enfocados ya sea en aspectos de contenido, pedagogia o curriculares. En este trabajo nos enfocamos al tema de levantar los intereses y las actitudes en el contexto del aprendizaje de la quimica, sobre todo al nivel del bachillerato. Los autores sugieren que existen tres factores claves a considerar para ello: los metodos empleados para presentar el contenido (p. ej. relevancia y enfoque historico); tecnicas instruccionales implantadas y aspectos de genero.
