Fault detection and isolation for discrete-time bilinear systems up to output injection

This paper deals with the problem of fault detection and isolation for discrete-time bilinear systems up to output injection. By combining the disturbance decoupling techniques and the observer synthesis for nonlinear systems, a group of residual filters can be constructed. These filters give rise to output signals which allow to perform the location of the failing components. A geometric condition capable of checking the sensitivity of the residual is provided.
