Modified pseudo eye metric for mismatched transmission lines

In addition to the eye diagram, the pseudo eye is another parameter to quickly access the performance of the channel. In order to make the pseudo eye method also applicable when the channel is mismatched at both source and load ends, a modified formula based on superposition and bounce diagram analysis is proposed to eliminate the effects caused by mismatched termination with resistive components. Subsequently, both the simulation and the experimental results are provided to validate the modified formula.
