Wearable Seismocardiography: Towards the beat-to-beat assessment of cardiac mechanics during sleep in microgravity

Seismocardiogram (SCG) can be detected over the 24h in ambulant subjects by a textile-based wearable system. This study explores the feasibility of a beat-to-beat estimation of cardiac mechanical features from the joint ECG and SCG assessment during sleep. This approach will be used to investigate sleep physiology in microgravity on board the International Space Station.
