The Design of Network Coding Based on the Limited Resources in Destination Node

Network coding can improve the transmission performance and resource utilization of the network. However, in some networks, destination node has the limited arithmetic capability and storage capacity. The decoding operation will further consume the scarce resources of the node. It is not conducive to the enhancement of the network performance. This paper will propose a new decoding scheme of network coding that decoding operation in the destination node transfers to the source node to maximize the utilization of network resources. The simulation results show that the improved decoding scheme can effectively reduce the load of decoding in the destination node
