THE USE OF LEAN TOOLS IN THE CERAMIC INDUSTRY

Results of measurements connected with implementation of Lean tools are presented in this chapter. The object of the study was a functional ceramics manufacturing plant. The process of pot moulding was analysed, which is an important manufacturing stage from the point of view of generating added value. The effect of instruments and tools of the Lean management concept on the increase of effectiveness of functioning of a work-place.
