Weather information providing method and system thereof used in vehicle terminal

The invention discloses a weather information providing method used in a vehicle terminal, comprising the following steps that: a user logs in a service center to transmit a weather information acquisition request with a user identifier; the service center receives the weather information acquisition request, and determines a geographical position appointed by the vehicle terminal with the user identifier; the service center references a preset hot spots information list, wherein a hot spots list and the weather information corresponding to each hot spot in the hot spots list are stored in the preset hot spots information list; when the geographical position belongs to the hot spots, the service center acquires corresponding weather information and provides the acquired information to the vehicle terminal; and the vehicle terminal outputs the acquired weather information. In the above process, the user directly logs in the service center and transmits the weather information acquisition request, and then, the desired weather information can be output on the vehicle terminal without performing additional operations, so that the weather information can be simply and conveniently acquired.
