Wellhead geothermal power systems

Small power systems, operating on the flow from a single geothermal well, are expected to play an important role in the continued development of geothermal power generation. This paper presents results of an analysis of alternative power cycles for wellhead geothermal generating units. Characteristics of working fluids and power cycles expected to be near-optimum for resource temperatures of 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600/sup 0/F (93, 149, 204, 260 and 316/sup 0/C) are presented.
