The Global Reach of ACS

LAST WEEK, THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL Society mailed ballots to all eligible members to vote for candidates for president-elect 2002. In addition, members in Districts II and IV also received ballots to vote for candidates who will serve on the ACS Board of Directors for a three-year term. The election statements for these candidates and for director-at-large were in the Sept. 17 issue of CE if you have misplaced C&EN, go to C&EN Online at http://pubs.acs.org/cen and click on "2002 ACS Candidates' Statements."
