A Special Feature Extraction Method for Square Phase Dynamic Coupling Signals

For improving the ability of the underwater detection system to detect underwater moving target, a special feature extraction method for underwater moving target-radiated square phase dynamic coupling signals is developed on the basis of analyzing and studying the property and performance of third order cumulant non-diagonal slice. In this method, we take full advantage of the ability to handle Gaussian noise, and colored non-Gaussian noise and the performance of wiping off the independent frequency component of underwater moving target-radiated signals. Simulational test with the underwater moving target-radiated data is also included. Results show that the method successfully extracts the attended phase dynamic coupling frequency components and procreant frequency components for dynamic coupling, and effectively suppresses Laplacian noise. So the performances in these aspects are superior to that of autocorrelation method.
