Modeling method of B-rep model oriented to CAD data reuse

To solve the low efficiency problems of CAD data reuse caused by difficulties in outline search,outline omission and hole feature description,and to provide support for automatic design of product service system,a modeling method of B-rep model based on outline splitting and matrix transformation was proposed.In this method,weighted undirected graph of outline was established with decision points as its nodes,and splitting extraction method of surface profile was constructed based on minimum spanning tree of the undirected graph.Through matrix transformation,incidence matrixes of body,surface,ring,edge and point were generated,and a complete B-rep model of product was put forward.A design system for steel structure engineering product based on the proposed method was developed to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the method.
