Research on Digital Image Compression Based on Image Format Conversion

Researches on the method of digital image compression,designs a digital image compression system by using Delphi.The system can convert a BMP bitmap to a JPEG image and compress a digital image in terms of user's requirement.Experiment shows that the system has higher compression ratio.
