Existential Hypotheses. Realistic versus Phenomenalistic Interpretations

The intention of the present essay is to urge a reconsideration of the RealismPhenomenalism-Issue, mainly and primarily in regard to the interpretation of scientific hypotheses; secondarily also relating to the basic problems of epistemology. In order to initiate discussion I shall first very briefly set forth the major contentions and questions. (These will be elaborated in what follows further on).
