A dynamic groupwise successive interference cancellation array receiver scheme for DS-CDMA systems

Integrating an adaptive antenna array (AAA) with multiuser detection (MUD) is a new research area aimed at improving the system performance and capacity. A new dynamic groupwise successive interference cancellation array receiver scheme for DS-CDMA systems is proposed and compared with other schemes. In this scheme, AAA beamforming based on direction of arrival (DOA) estimation is integrated with multistage interference cancellation (IC). Simulation results illustrate that our method outperforms existing interference cancellers for DS-CDMA systems in a multipath Rayleigh fading channel environment.
