ANALYSIS OF NOISY VOLTAGE SIGNAL WITH A HIGH RESOLUTION OF FREQUENCY FOR THE CLOSING OF TRANSMISSION LINES

This paper presents an auto - reclosing tech- nique for compensated transmission lines, which uses the Prony Method for the determination of the optimal switch- ing moment. The influence of the signal noise to this algo- rithm is reduced with the help of the singular value decomposition. The mathematical basics for both tech- niques are explained and the results of computer simula- tions are shown.
