A Survey on Artificial Intelligence for Network Routing Problems

—The Internet has growing rapidly in the last two decades. With the increasing demand and penetration of the Internet, users now expect Quality of Service (QoS) and performance, not only in fixed networks but also in wireless networks. High efficient routing is an important issue in today's Internet. Many techniques have been proposed for this problem. In recent years, many new techniques using Artificial Intelligence to address the network routing problems, especially in wireless sensor networks, have been proposed. This paper aims to give an overview of network routing problems, the current state of technology and previous Artificial Intelligence contributions to the problem area.
