소형 아파트 거주자들의 주민전용 공동공간 요구도에 관한 조사연구 ( Needs for Shared Community Space of Small-sized Apartment Housing Dwellers )

This study is designed to explore the kind of the shared community space residents want and to examine the relationship between the needs for shared community space and the resident's charateristics such as size of floor space, family lifecycle, educational level of husband,employment status of house wife,age of husband and wife and homeownership. The Questionnaires are administered to 248 housewives living in apartment housing complexes of four residential areas in Kwangju.Such techniques as Frequency,Percentage Distribution. x 2,and General linear Model/Duncan-test are used. The major findings of this study are as follows ; Most of apartment dwellers wanted shared community space, especially for children's activities,social gathering and physical exercises. Family with a child attending primary school or younger are more likely to want storage spaces than those with one in high school or older. Housewives with job are more likely to desire shared spaces for basic living than non-working housewives do. Those living with less floor space tend to need spaces for children's activities than those with larger one.
