The implementation of a transputer based fault tolerant multiprocessor communication architecture is presented. The inteconnection matrix describing the communication [network is generated with a simple algorithm. For a given diameter K of the network and a constant number of bidirectional communication ports L per node the topology interconnects N codes with transputer controlled communication allows for efficient ralizationn of a fault tolerant system without an excessive amount of communication overhead.
