Simulating the mobile network behavior by applying DTN in ONE simulator of the use case of a real town communication

The usage of Delay Tolerant Networks in mobile ad-hoc networks is very useful in different difficult situations where traditional routing techniques can not be applied in order to establish and maintain the continuous communication between the nodes. The different features that DTN allow you to simulate the real town mobile networks and information exchange between two neighbor nodes in case where the nodes keep moving by following the street and lanes of a real town map, and while nodes keep changing their behavior and state too. The simulation environment of ONE simulator allows to configure a platform that depict and helps to test the DTN protocols. The study consists on applying the DTN protocols in ONE simulator for a real town in Albania where some conclusions came out by estimating the overall network performance.
