A study of real time ionospheric mapping by neural network

Abstract A study of real time ionospheric mapping of foF2 by neural network is presented. A perceptron is trained by backpropagation method to predict foF2 along a fixed latitude. Results of a numerical experiment and preliminary tests are shown.
