Gezhouba Hydrological Telemetering & Forecasting System

In order to meet the concrete requirements for the safe operation of the Gezhouba reservoir as regard water level and rainfall for different geographical regions, the Gezhouba Hydropower Plant has established a hydrological telemetering and forecasting system which includes hydrological telemetry systems for Gezhouba dam region, near dam region and the rack differential pressure real-time monitoring. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the major features and technical indexes of the systems, analyze both the reliability and the necessity of the systems.
