Squamous Cell Carcinoma Arising in a Dermoid Cyst of the Ovary

Summary: A case of unexpected squamous cell carcinoma arising from a benign cystic teratoma is presented. The tumour occurred in a 57‐year‐old Chinese patient. No recurrence was evident after 1 year. The literature is briefly reviewed.
