Intelligent control method of vehicle's starting on slope road

To solve some problems brought about by the Hill Starting Aid Equipment mounted in the vehicle with an Automated Mechanical Transmission, in this work the authors analyzed the vehicle's dynamics problem and the control problem when the vehicle starts on a slope road, then presented an intelligent control method based on the iterative learning theory for vehicle's starting. By the aid of the method, the vehicle equipped with the AMT can leave out the Hill Starting Aid Equipment and can start up smoothly on a slope road, without slipping back. This method cannot only reduce the vehicle's cost, but also make the brake system highly reliable. The test result shows that the method can be applied to the AMT vehicle.
