The Application of DSP+CPLD in Static Synchronous Compensator of Cascade H Bridge Contribution Network

Analyzing the principle and control method of DSTATCOM,this paper introduces mainly the control method,hardware and software designs of cascade H bridge contribution network with DSP + CPLD.The DSP + CPLD has so comprehensive functions of current and voltage sampling and cutting ridge,fiber optic data transmission,generating a PWM wave,communication and monitoring that it can effectively adjust and balance the voltage of contribution network,and make it reactive power compensation.The DSP has characteristics of high frequency and rich system resources while the CPLD can simplify the hardware circuit of system and thus enhance its performance.
